How to get there:

The Twin Peaks HMA is located approximately 25 miles northeast of Susanville, CA. Highway 395 borders the HMA to the west. The Herd Management Area is located in both Lassen County, CA and Washoe County, NV.

About the burros:

There are between 72 to 116 head of burros in this HMA. They are mostly black and brown in color, with some grays. They range between 11-12 hands and 400-600 pounds.
